LYNETTE LAME, Tatted Snowflake

KATHLEEN WEEKS, Idrija Piece taught by Sylvia Fellows, a work in progress.

LIZ BUCHROEDER, Bobbins being shown to remember to send good thoughts to people in need as I Lace. Lacemaking reminded me of the Tibetan prayer wheels of spinning in place, in a way like lace, as we turn our pillows. The two dark bobbins for 12 year old twins on opposite coast - one of which has a severe emotional problem. Peace Dove is for one of our lace members whose eyesight won’t allow lacemaking. Poison Frog bobbin for neighbor who just suddenly began collapsing. Floral Bee pattern for husband, wife, who are ex neighbors, their daughter, and granddaughter who had to be isolated for covid 19. (Sadly, Ex neighbor passed from Covid). Lace is Louise Colgan’s Hungarian Tape Lace #1.

Bobbins change as needed. They are great reminders to keep people in mind.

BOBBI MARVEL, Louise Colgan’s Hungarian Tape Lace #1. Use of Magic Thread start. A favorite go-to piece for many of our Lacers.
