Here’s a photo of a tatted heart of my own design. I wanted a patchwork quilt appearance.

This is a great way to use up small lengths of thread left on a tatting shuttle after completing a project. I’m a one-time Doris Southard Original Design Award winner encouraging teachers and professionals to enter a project in The Doris Southard Award class at the IOLI Lace Contest at the yearly Convention.
